The TP-DCDC-1248 by Tycon Power® is a cost-effective and reliable DC to DC Converter solution for converting 12V or 24V battery power to 48VDC Power over Ethernet (PoE). With its integrated PoE injector, it delivers a stable 48VDC output from an input range of 9VDC to 36VDC. Designed with one common (-) and two (+) inputs, it connects seamlessly to both primary and backup power sources, ensuring uninterrupted operation. For industrial applications, a durable metal enclosure model is also available.

This unit supports data-in through a shielded RJ45 jack and provides data-out with 48V PoE power via the output jack. It powers devices using Ethernet pins 4,5(V+) and 7,8(V-), making it compatible with many PoE devices. For applications requiring the IEEE 802.3af handshake, compliant models are available for added flexibility.

To protect your equipment, the TP-DCDC-1248 includes surge, short circuit, and overload protection. With a 24W power output, it is suitable for a wide range of applications.
